| LEED Compliance Mobern's Strategic LEED Compliance Initiative Mobern recognizes the growing need for architects and engineers to reach peak levels of LEED compliance. That is why we have made it a strategic initiative to have a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies of lighting as it applies to achieving LEED compliance. Achieving LEED Compliance With Mobern Products & Services Mobern is striving to help our partner clients achieve the highest level of compliance possible. Mobern became an ENERGY STAR Partner in January 2008. Mobern now offers a variety of energy efficient, ENERGY STAR, products and a variety of other products that help to achieve LEED rating points.
What's more, Mobern is helping achieve LEED compliance through some of our value add services that clients receive through partnering with us including: regional manufacturing and close proximity shipping within a 500 mile radius in the Baltimore/DC metropolitan area; reducing a client’s volume of waste through our free local pick-up within a 100 mile range; and efficient packaging with less leftover waste. with lighting can achieve Understanding Lighting as it Relates to LEED Compliance Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) defines green design, promotes green design practices, and rewards organizations that adopt green design. LEED projects are certified according to the number of points achieved, indicating how green a building is: Certified (26-32), Silver (33-38), Gold (39-51) and Platinum (52-69).
